When you encounter scenes that need to reference images in Midjourney creation, such as Image Prompt, cref (Character Reference), sref (Style Reference), many URLs or code will appear in your prompt.
The usual URL is a long and meaningless string of characters, and it is difficult for us to recall what image corresponds to each URL. If we use sref code in a more advanced way, we will also face the same difficulty.
Difficulties We Found:
1. When entering the Midjourney Prompt in discord, we need to first find the target image (if it has been uploaded long time ago, it is more difficult to find), and then paste the link of the image into the prompt.
2. When our existing prompt contains multiple image links and we need to delete an image, we need to click on all the links to see which image corresponds to it. This is very time-consuming and tests short-term memory.
A solution(Notion Template) we found:
1. Build a "character collections" database to store character images and URLs
2. Build the "Midjourney style collections" database to store Midjourney style codes and corresponding best practice images
3. Build the "Image/style collections" database to store the style images we collected or images used for Image prompts
4. Build a "prompt collections" database to store the excellent prompts we collected so that they can be quickly reused.
5. Visually select images in the above four databases through Notion's database association, and automatically send the corresponding URL to the prompt.
What you can play:
1. You can add or delete data in the four databases according to your preferences
2. You can visually select the collected text prompts, or you can write impromptu text prompts
3. You can visually select existing text prompt, URLs and codes in the library
4. You can customize the values of iw, cw, and sw, and we will automatically pass them into the Final prompt through formulas.
5. You only need to copy the prompt from “Final prompt” to discord or Midjourney web version
Imperfections:
Due to the underlying architecture of Notion, we cannot see the large preview of the image when selecting the image. If you cannot see the effect clearly, please click on the image to enlarge it (this will add one more step, which we deeply regret)
